**PCT/Patient Care Technician Trainee- Full-time, Rotating Day and Night Shift**

**Work location:** Texas Health Harris Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave TX 76104
**Work environment:** Nursing Units ; candidate must be willing to commit to any unit upon time of application. Exact unit to be determined during the selection process.
**Training hours during paid apprenticeship:** Full Time; Monday – Friday , Days , 36- 40 hours per week between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
**Work hours:** 36 hours per week , Rotating Day And Night Shifts
**Start Date :** August 25,2025

**Qualifications:**
Education:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
Complete PCT apprenticeship program. Curriculum to include:
- Basic patient care skills
- Patient rights, communication, safety, observation and reporting
- Assisting patients in maintaining basic comfort and safety
Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
