About the job:

Provides direct patient care and performs specified procedures under the direct supervision of the RN or LPN. Provides direct patient care according to age specific guidelines and established policies and procedures. Communicates patient related data and requests to appropriate team members. Assists in meeting the patient’s nutritional needs. Assists with ambulation to including walkers, canes, prostheses, etc.  Maintains a safe environment by adhering to Hospital policies and procedures for isolation techniques, use of restraints, and falls prevention.  Reports any unsafe condition to the appropriate personnel. 

Education: The level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level courses.  Ability to read, write, and spell English and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Licensure: CNA license preferred. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.

Experience: Experience in patient care preferred.
