Patient Care Assistant Float

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)-Regional Float is designated to float to ministries/units across a region (multiple ministries) within the state. Will float to specialty area(s) based on the CNA competency level. Completes appropriate competency and cross-training to float to designated units. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice. The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)-Float understands and reacts effectively to the unique needs of all patients and works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care.

Education
Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice.  

Experience
1 year of direct patient care experience is preferred.  

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
Illinois:  Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.  
Wisconsin:  Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.  

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.   
Eligible to work as Nursing Assistant as listed on state Nurse Aide Registry.

Pay Range:

$17.50 - $24.50

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
