**DESCRIPTION** Ensures that all activities associated with collection of amounts due on patient accounts are achieved for assigned providers. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (Other duties may be assigned) + Keep patient accounts?updated? + Answer billing?and payment related questions + Post-surgical encounters? + Collect surgery deposits + Follow the claims process in a timely manner **REQUIREMENTS** **QUALIFICATIONS** + Minimum of two?years experience working in all areas of collections for a physicians' practice. + Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 10 and CPT codes. + Excellent written and oral communication skills as customer service is a major focus at Resurgens! **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear.
