Job Description:This position provides leadership and support to patient access staff in designated department(s). Assists manager in maintaining optimal staffing models based on volumes and monitors quality and productivity. Exhibits and promotes the Essentia Health customer service philosophy to ensure patients and visitors receive exceptional service. Provides feedback and coaching to staff as necessary and assists with the development of training programs.

Travel Requirement:
This position is based out of our Superior Hospital/Clinic or another Wisconsin clinic location Ashland, Hayward, and Spooner. Regular travel between multiple clinic sites within Wisconsin is required. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be comfortable managing responsibilities across our different locations.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Provides information to, and maintains relationships with external and internal providers, nursing staff, operation managers, front office staff, and customers to provide coordinated servicesStays current with clinical, provider, registration and scheduling information related to the serviced departmentsAssists in maintaining scheduling protocols for many different Essentia Health departmentsAssists in monitoring all work queues to ensure timely and quality patient care

Required Qualifications:

2 years of direct work experience as related to oversight of the team’s work or 2 years of related healthcare leadership experience
