Description We are looking for an experienced Patient Access Supervisor to join our team on a 3-month contract basis in San Bernardino, California. In this role, you will oversee patient registration operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with organizational policies. You will play a key part in guiding a team of professionals while supporting the department's workflow and overall performance. Responsibilities: + Analyze and display operational data in meaningful formats for decision-making + Develop and communicate department policies, procedures, and business documentation + Prepare and present management reports, including key performance indicators related to wait/service times, staff productivity, accuracy, and patient satisfaction + Oversee patient incident reporting and customer feedback systems + Conduct special studies as needed to support departmental performance + Develop and manage associate work schedules and assignments for cost-effective staffing + Ensure optimal workflow and staff utilization to meet department demands + Act as a technical advisor and resource for staff and leadership + Disseminate policy/procedure updates and ensure compliance + Provide leadership and coverage support across departmental divisions as necessary Requirements + Minimum 4 years of experience in a hospital Patient Registration Department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, revenue cycle vendor, or a similar revenue cycle role + At least 1 year of supervisory experience is strongly preferred + Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry + Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills + Ability to lead a team of 15 and manage workflows effectively + Comfortable working Monday through Friday night shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM + No professional license or certification required TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
