**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** + High School Diploma or Equivalent, with business curriculum preferred and at least 1 year of customer service experience. + Act 33/34 and 72 Clearances + Pre-Employment drug screening **SCHEDULE: (** This is a non-exempt, hourly position) Full Time: 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, Day light with flexibility to cover other sites based on the needs of the unit. **GREAT BENEFIT PACKAGE: (Benefits start Day 1 of employment)** + 403B with employer match + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Medical, Dental, Vision + Life Insurance + Paid Holiday Days + Plus more……… **JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:** The Patient Access Representative works on a team to coordinate our medical provider and therapist’s schedules, performs clerical and administrative functions (prepping correspondents, sorting mail and faxes, scanning); answers the office telephone; schedules, reschedules and cancels patient appointments; and verifies and maintains patient demographic and insurance information, which may include insurance authorizations. Prioritize daily tasks based on deadlines, urgency of needs and departmental policy. Other duties as assigned. **ABOUT THE ROLE:** This Patient Access Representative position is designed to provide high quality service to all individuals served and customers in a courteous and professional manner. We are looking for a professional that has the experience with clerical/administration functions, confidentiality, multi-tasking and works well within a team-based approach. This position is expected to perform clerical and administrative duties in order to maintain program and registration operations, including: communications, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, scheduling, payee reimbursement, Insurance registration and the basic coordination of day-to-day services. Follow all established documentation, policies and procedures. Prioritize daily tasks based on deadlines, urgency of needs and departmental policy.
