Schuyler Hospital is hiring for a Patient Access Representative. As a Patient Access Representative, you play a critical role in ensuring quality patient care, and world-class customer service by greeting and assisting patients, managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential administrative support.\n
Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nGreet and register patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.\nManage efficient patient check-in and check-out processes, minimizing wait times and optimizing patient flow.\nPerform clerical duties, including answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments electronically, verifying insurance, and handling forms, letters, and collections as appropriate.\nFacilitate clear communication between patients, their families, providers, and staff to ensure all needs are met.\nProvide coverage at Ovid Clinic or Schuyler Hospital as required, with flexibility to work evening or night shifts when needed.\n\n
Required Skills and Experience:\n\nEducation: High School Graduate or equivalent\n\n
Preferred Skills and Experience:\n\nVocational school preferred\nExperience: Registration and clerical experience preferred, but not required\n\n

Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nOnsite at Schuyler Hospital - 220 Steuben St, Montour Falls, NY\nCoverage on weekends and as needed, various shifts\n\n
Pay Range Disclosure:\n\n19.50 to $23.00 per hour \n\n
