Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating patient access to healthcare services, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing a welcoming environment.Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure accurate registration.Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.Address patient inquiries and provide information regarding services and procedures.Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient access.Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.Assist with billing and payment processes as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with empathy.Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
