**DESCRIPTION** Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating patient access to healthcare services, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients from the moment they arrive. Key Responsibilities: + Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing a welcoming environment. + Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure accurate registration. + Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. + Address patient inquiries and provide information regarding services and procedures. + Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient access. + Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. + Assist with billing and payment processes as needed. Skills and Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. + Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with empathy. + Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
