Position Purpose
Team leader for the Arrival Team Associates, responsible for pre-registration, registration and admission functions.
What you will do
Assist management in leading associates in daily activities as follows:
Greet patients at specific service areas and check a pre-registered patient into the registration system, verifying demographic information, and collecting patient liability
Collect, process and reconcile patient liability when indicated
If the patient has not been pre-registered, complete patient registration process following department procedures
Work with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
Position Highlights and Benefits
Full time 40hrs, mostly days, some evening hours until 8pm, or weekend day shift coverage of other staff
Shift and weekend differentials will apply
