Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the pastry section, creating high-quality desserts and bakery items, and ensuring consistency and excellence in every product served. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation in pastry arts.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and preparing desserts, cakes, pastries, bread, and other confectionery items.
Creating new recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
Ensuring the quality, consistency, and taste of all finished products.
Managing the purchasing and storage of ingredients.
Maintaining hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
Organizing the work of the pastry section and delegating tasks to team members.
Training and mentoring junior pastry chefs and assistants.
Controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
Decorating and presenting desserts in accordance with restaurant/hotel standards.
Collaborating with the Executive Chef and other kitchen department.
