PFP Research Chemist

We're looking for an experienced PFP S&T Research Chemist to develop and improve PFP (Passive Fire Protection ) formulations. This role involve leading R&D projects, optimizing existing products, and supporting technical and manufacturing teams.

Your main responsibilities are:

Carry out laboratory work related to Task Requests and Projects.Develop new products to meet customer requirements, current and future environmental legislation in order to maintain current market share and obtain new business.Engineer/modify existing products to meet customer requirements.Provide advice and recommendations to other departments and customers to assist in solving potential problems and queries.Support quality department in resolution of customer complaints.Keep up to date with literature and with the technological trends in the field of PFP.Initiate and complete innovative formulation development to expand the R&D formulation library.Provide technical reports and presentations.Guide technology transfer to manufacturers and provide technical support to production.

Required skills and experience:

Chemistry degree/equivalent is required5 year+ R&D experience on passive fire protection fieldTrack record on formulation, lab sample preparation, airless application and internal fire testsTrack record on fire test standards/certification (EN/BS, UL, ASTM, etc.)Proven ability to look at a technical & theoretical dataset and derive a practical solutionProven ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently and within a teamGood written and verbal communication skills in English
