The Policy Administration System (PAS) Lead Developer will be responsible for managing the development team and overseeing the development of software applications and systems. The Lead Developer will be expected to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the development team is meeting deadlines and requirements and will be responsible for designing and implementing new solutions.
Job Purpose
The Policy Administration System Transformation Full Stack Engineer will play a critical role in the design and development of a modern, scalable, and high-performance policy administration system as part of a strategic transformation initiative. This role requires a versatile engineer who is proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, and who can contribute across the software development lifecycle. The engineer will work collaboratively with architects, IT SMEs, business analysts, and QA teams to build and deliver a future-ready solution that supports the company’s digital and operational goals.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure full stack solutions for the new policy administration platform.•Work closely with solution architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.•Develop APIs, integrations, and user interfaces that support end-to-end policy lifecycle processes (e.g., quote, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal).Ensure system components are modular, reusable, and align with enterprise architecture standards.Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure robustness and reliability of the application.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to enable continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Proactively identify technical debt and suggest improvements to enhance performance and maintainability.Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Accountabilities:

Platform Resilience: Contribute to building a reliable, maintainable, and resilient policy administration platform for long-term business use.
