We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Parts Shop Assistant to support automobile engine preparation and packaging, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential in preparing shipments, assisting with assembly processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to teamwork. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and package High Performance engines for outbound shipmentPlace engines on stands for assembly and set engines on test carts for DYNO runsRemove engines from test carts for shippingMaintain a clean and organized High Performance DepartmentLearn and memorize various part locations within the warehouse and differentiate between part numbersFollow company policies, values, and quality proceduresAdhere to related processes and work instructions QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDWillingness to learn position-specific proceduresAbility to work independently for short periods of timeBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Ability to read, write, and follow instructionsAble to lift and maneuver parts and equipment as requiredProblem-solving skills for routine work situations Benefits and PerksPay rate: $16/hrMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceOngoing Training & Career Development Opportunities Your New Organization
