We are seeking a highly experienced **Parts and Service Consultant** to lead the development and deployment of service data solutions that drive profitable parts and service revenue growth. This role is critical in ensuring accurate component life and lifecycle cost assessments across all Resource Industry products.
**What you will do:**
This role is responsible for developing and implementing service data solutions that identify accurate component lives and lifecycle costs using multiple data sources and predictive analytics. Responsibilities also include collecting and integrating Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, New Product Introduction (NPI) deliverables, and regularly refreshing service data.
+ **Develop and deploy Lean, scalable solutions** that ensure customers have timely access to optimal repair options—reducing costs and maximizing uptime.
+ **Collaborate cross-functionally** with Product and Component Teams, the Global Services Division, and Dealers to align on standardized processes and service strategies.
+ **Establish and maintain** feedback loops with Product and Component Teams to identify deviations and drive continuous improvement.
+ **Foster strong working relationships** across diverse teams and leadership levels, demonstrating effective communication and influence.
+ Develop processes for serial number/fleet-specific service data for all Resource Industry products.
+ Integrate variables such as demonstrated life, application severity, maintenance practices, and environmental conditions into service data files.
+ Design data analysis methods to validate and refine service data for component replacement and maintenance intervals using diverse data sources.
+ Standardize formats and processes for communicating and applying actual component life data across product groups.
+ Create consistent procedures for data input forms and build rules in collaboration with service data development teams.
+ Develop and deliver training materials to support the adoption and understanding of service data processes.
**What skills you will have:**
**Customer Focus:** **Experience in marketing, sales, or product support** , along with specific industry or product knowledge. Proficiency in **data analysis** and use of business tools for communicating ideas. Strong project management skills
**Effective Communications:** Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset.
**Service Excellence:** Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
**Relationship Management:** Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
**Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
**Top Candidates will also have:**
Broad business acumen with deep product or industry knowledge.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, and basic familiarity with Snowflake.
Hands-on experience in service data development and application.
6 Sigma Black Belt or formal project management experience.
**Additional information:**
This position requires the candidate **to work full-time in the Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL office.**
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
This position will require 10 – 25% travel.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
