Parts Quotation Specialist I
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:   Collaborate with teams with dynamic strengths including Global Pricing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Impact Partners, and Service to prepare and deliver accurate spare parts quotes. Analyze and verify data to ensure precision, and follow up with partners to understand customer needs and provide significant solutions. Lead incoming quote requests from Impact Partners by reading, sorting, prioritizing, and responding in a timely and organized manner. Provide detailed information on sourcing, lead times, and pricing that supports both factory teams and Impact Partners in decision-making. Use Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) to supervise key performance metrics and maintain quote accuracy and history. Extract and interpret data from business systems such as serial numbers, pricing, part numbers, and lead times to prepare comprehensive quotes. Review technical drawings and item setup data to assess product suitability, marketability, and attribute similarities. Ensure quotes meet customer and Fisher standards by reviewing applicable specifications, quality expectations, and processing requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Equivalent combination of education and significant experience in manufacturing processes will also be considered.
 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:  

At least 1 year of tried experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical literature and documentation.

Strong English communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening.

Proven record to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external team members, including customers and suppliers.

 

Technical Knowledge:

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with MS Access and Project is a plus.

Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM), mechanical and assembly drawings, and instruction manuals.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procedures.

Strong presentation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Research and analytical skills to tackle problems and see opportunities.

Professional and respectful interpersonal style; able to connect with emotional intelligence, clarity, and courtesy.

Self-motivated and adaptable, with a collaborative mentality.
