Wärtsilä Water Systems Ltd is looking for a Parts Identification Coordinator to join our Technical Identification team based in UK, Poole, Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, global organisation committed to innovation and sustainabity.
As a Parts Identification Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Spares, Service, and Purchasing teams by identifying and managing spare parts enquiries. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and resolving parts identification requests. Supporting obsolescence reviews and non-conformity investigations. Providing accurate feedback to product owners to drive continuous improvement. Building product knowledge and contributing to product development initiatives. Using tools like SAP, Autodesk Vault, and Item Master to manage data effectively.
We’re seeking someone who is:
Ideally qualified to HNC/HND or A-Level in a business-related subject. Organised, proactive, and a strong communicator. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Technically curious with a desire to grow product knowledge. Experienced or willing to learn technical systems and specifications.
Skills and competencies:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Good organisational and reporting abilities. Familiarity with technical documentation and data systems. A team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
