 We're hiring for a Parts Clerk in Pittsburgh, PA!
Transdev in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk performs all administrative functions for the location. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. The shift hours will be 11:00am - 7:30pm. Transdev is proud to offer:Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:$28.39 / hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) Benefits include:Vacation: up to 14 days per yearPaid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 5 hrs monthly part- time employees; medical, dental & vision available first calendar day after employment hire date for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.Key Responsibilities:Order, receive and stock parts: maintaining inventoryWorking one-on-one with technicians to select partsComputer data entry and pulling reportsMaintaining files and other related recordsMaintaining parts room organization and cleanlinessShift flexibility at times to provide coverageOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years or more of parts or vehicle maintenance experience; heavy-duty and equipment preferredStrong data entry skillsComputer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook email or similar; daily computer use is required as a function of the job.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.      Physical Requirements:The essential functions of this position require the ability to:Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfacesPush and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground levelWithstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
