The Partnership Manager has the ownership and accountability for monitoring results in Export Markets, planning and prioritization of new product launches. This role is important in facilitating the relationship between Cluster Franchise Head and Third-Party Partner. 

The location can be either in Bucharest, Budapest, Kiev, Athens, Prague or Zagreb.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Support the strategy for export markets

Partnering with Distributors to understand market dynamics, insights and collect channel distribution information, supporting the Franchise Head and Marketing team to develop tailor strategies

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Distributors on the operational Distributor(s) performance across the markets

Assess and prioritize Distributor needs, when developing franchise strategy and operational plans

Support Marketing strategy implementation

Lead initiatives to strengthen the Franchise business by developing an excellence-oriented and customer-focused culture, fostering innovation, and building best-in-class third-party partnership that fully exploit all market opportunities

Monitoring distributors performance and if identified any gaps collaborate with BUHs to develop appropriate action plan and keep tracking of progress of agreed KPIs

Support operation with major Cluster Key Accounts and Healthcare Organizations

Coordinate business specifics e.g. pricing changing forms (PCF), Undertaking letters (UTL)

Monitor and track in market sales, stock-in-trade and market share evolution

Work closely with Distributors to ensure sales forecasting accuracy in line with Alcon requirements and operational cycle

Report on competitive intelligence activities shared by the Distributor to ensure Marketing strategy aligned with needs

Provide consultancy to the distributor on delivering and implementing customer programmes

Coordinate day-to-day commercial operations with smaller markets / Distributors and/or dispersed markets across broader geography

Align on a monthly basis with Distributor and work with S&OP to provide 24 months forecast

Guarantee and follow-up on Distributor’s training level and needs, supporting the upscaling knowledge of Distributors associates – via Alcon GEM Training Plan

Ensure fulfillment Distributors contractual obligations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Education :

University degree in business/economics/marketingAdvanced degree in business/economics/marketing

Languages:

Fluency in English essential

Mandatory Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian

Experience/Other:

Proven track-record of commercial leadership responsibility in multiple geographies

More than 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership and distributor management in the healthcare industry

In-depth understanding of different country market environment

Strong relationships with KOLs, key accounts and customers

Proven track record of successful new product launch planning and execution

Proven ability and experience of risk assessment and management

Strong results orientation, and willingness to have extensive involvement in Region / Country strategic Business operations

IT literacy is expected on all common Windows applications

Excellent persuasive and influencing skills
