**Introduction** An IBM Partner Technical Specialist is a technical expert who helps clients, sales teams, and business partners understand and use IBM's products and services. They also work with partners to integrate IBM's technology into their solutions **Your role and responsibilities** Influence customer/business/service partner's technical strategy to include IBM's technology Embed IBM's technology into customer/business/service partner's reference architectures, practices, and solutions Help business/service partner's sales and technical teams demonstrate IBM's technology to their clients **Required technical and professional expertise** 3+ years of experience in enterprise storage solutions. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage. - Knowledge of integrating storage solutions with servers and virtualized environments (e.g. KVM, VMware, Hyper-V). Specific Knowledge: - Hands-on experience with IBM Storage products (e.g., IBM FlashSystem, IBM DS8000, IBM Storage SW like Ceph, Fusion etc). - Familiarity with related technologies such as NVMe, RAID, and data deduplication. - Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. - Expertise in storage cybersecurity, including immutable backups and ransomware protection.
