Partner Technical Specialist - Cloud

Part of a team, you'll be surrounded by bright minds and keen co-creators - always willing to help and be helped - as you apply passion to work that will compel our clients to invest in IBM's products and services. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Cloud Partner Technical Specialist, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us. Your primary responsibilities will include: * IBM Cloud Subject Matter Expert: serve as a knowledge resource for your team and sellers. * Technical Sales Guidance: Provide technical guidance and solution design in early tech sales, including demos, proofs of concept, and workshops. * Collaboration with IBM Teams: Collaborate with IBM sales teams using various tools. * Product Advocacy: Highlight the advantages and value proposition of IBM Cloud Profolio's products. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Pre-sales Expertise: Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting, working with client subject matter experts to scope and demo solutions. * Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills and a passion for Cloud technologies. * Tech Sales Success: Track record of success in Technology Sales. * Business Acumen: Exhibit a strong understanding of business operations and financial benefits related to technology solutions, enabling clear explanations. * Experience: At least 2 years experience in Information Technology, Cloud administration, or a relevant field. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Value Demonstration: Showcase a track record of experience illustrating how technology solutions deliver tangible operational and financial value at all organizational levels (training on IBM's Cloud offerings will be provided).
