Partner Technical Lead
**Job Summary** The Partner Technical Lead (PTL) plays a critical role as the technical lead for assigned Partners. Working closely with the Partner team, the PTL is responsible for understanding the long-term vision, business challenges, and aligning NetApp's portfolio to drive technical solutions that promote NetApp products, solutions, and services in Partner-led opportunities. The PTL will establish strong working relationships with Partner executives, thought leaders, and technical leads to drive collaboration and achieve joint business goals. This role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate the Partner organization effectively. If you are a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen and the ability to build strong relationships, we encourage you to apply for the Partner Technical Lead position. **Job Responsibility** The overall responsibilities of Partner Technical Lead are to provide technical leadership and serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners. You will be responsible for driving excitement and interest in NetApp solutions and technologies, provide advanced technical guidance and support to partners, develop and deliver technical training sessions and workshops to partners. + Strong understanding of Partner business and market dynamics. + Familiarity with NetApp's Partner Programs and the ability to explain them to Partners, + Strategic thinking and goal-setting skills to establish objectives for the Partner relationship. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with Partner executives and technical leadership. + Assist with the ongoing improvement and evolution of partner programs. + Identify and influence the improvement of key channel business processes across NetApp. + Proven track record of successfully supporting and enabling partners. + Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. + Drive overall channel PTL program consistency, teaming, and integration of all PTL activities when applicable. + Provide continuous learning opportunities through workshops, certifications, and hands-on labs. + Ensure partners achieve and maintain the relevant certifications + Identify areas for improvement and work with partners to enhance their technical capabilities and performance + Organize regular community events, webinars, and meetups to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among champions. **Job Requirements** + A minimum of 12 years of experience in customer facing organizations within IT industry or equivalent + A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; or related field is required + Experience working with partnerships (e.g. VAR/VAD, System Integrators, Technology Partners) preferred + Successful experience in building long term personal relationships with senior level Partners. + NetApp technical skills preferred. + Specialized knowledge in infrastructure including virtualization & server/network/storage.
