The Specialist will solve problems, and answer product, program, and deal registration questions. The Partner Specialist will foster relationships with customers and/or internal staff by communicating their knowledge of a product, service, proposition, or process. **Role Description** + Evangelize and promote the Partners’ Brand and drive key marketing initiatives + Host and attend marketing calls regularly to drive events, activities, and accountability for your Partner + Design collateral, host webinars, and give presentations to educate on your manufacturer, their offerings, and how we can win with their solutions + Act as a “go-to” resource for partner sales teams, to answer product, program, and deal registration questions + Identify customer needs/requirements and recommend appropriate solutions + Conduct conference calls/meetings with Sales teams, manufacturer Sales teams, and customers to sell partner products and solutions + Train sales teams on partner products and programs, and how customers can benefit by using their core products + Stay up to date on new product technology offerings, as well as partner-specific trainings and certifications + Develop and manage a sales pipeline on an ongoing basis through CRM and Excel + Execute on marketing campaigns and initiatives aligning with Enterprise and Corp teams as well as marketing and internal social media + Own and monitor the partners’ Alias or Team Box and manage request by resolving within our Service Level Agreements + Monitor CRM for submitted Deal Registration requests and submit them to the partner, always maintaining CRM with updates + Maintain Partners’ Pipeline tracking open Deals and Communicate regularly with Partners, distribution, and sales to ensure forecast accuracy + Manage necessary reporting, e.g., sales, pipeline, or quote reports for your partner + Monitor deals listed in the deal tracker, follow up with updates, and keep data current + Help find recent sales opportunities through all available sources, e.g,. reporting, account mapping, and product displacement + Review opportunities to drive profitability and ensure that all eligible margin incentives on a deal are being received – e.g,. deal registration and manufacturer promotions + Keep current on all Partners’ trainings, programs, program changes, and products + Maintain internal Partners’ pages and all relevant content, including product deals, awards, promo, etc. + Contribute Content, e.g., partner updates or changes, new products, or promotions, to the Software and Licensing Newsletter + Be the main point of contact for Order Resolution Issues such as cancellations, returns, incorrect end user or SKU/Quantity, etc. **Behaviors and Competencies** + Communication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information, and can adapt communication style to the audience. + Multi-Tasking: Can identify opportunities for task optimization, propose solutions, and manage multiple tasks without explicit instructions. + Analytical Thinking: Can apply critical thinking to analyze data, identify patterns, and make basic inferences. + Prioritization: Can identify critical tasks, arrange them based on importance, and execute without explicit instructions. + Teamwork: Can work effectively in a team, contributing ideas and effort, and respecting the contributions of others. + Interpersonal Skills: Can communicate effectively, build relationships, and resolve conflicts with others in moderate situations. + Creativity: Can demonstrate creativity in problem-solving, considering multiple perspectives and exploring diverse options. + Presenting: Can prepare and deliver presentations, addressing key points and responding to questions with clarity. + Problem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions. + Initiative: Can identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions, and take action without explicit instructions. + Time Management: Can generally use time effectively and is working towards improving task prioritization and deadline management. + Adaptability: Can adjust to changes in the work environment, manage multiple tasks, and effectively handle uncertainty. + Relationship Building: Can identify opportunities for collaboration, propose strategies for effective communication, and build relationships without explicit instructions. **Skill Level Requirements** + The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Basic + The ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with business partners, ensuring collaborative success and strategic alignment - Basic **Other Requirements** + Completed Bachelor’s Degree required + 1-3 years of experience in a similar role + Ability to travel up to 10% + Ability to work flexible hours + Willingness to obtain and maintain Partners’ Certifications during employment The base salary range for this position is $45,000- $$80,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus, are $60,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
