S&P Global seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Partner (Sponsor) Liaison Manager to oversee the execution of event deliverables and customer commitments for CERAWeek’s NextGen program, which engages with academic institutions globally. This client relationship role not only focuses on managing existing partnerships but also presents an exciting opportunity for prospecting new academic partners. As the primary client-facing contact for CERAWeek’s NextGen partnerships and communities, the Partner Liaison Manager will ensure successful strategic planning, management, and execution of partnerships and program events at various levels, fostering growth and enhancing collaboration within the program. NextGen at CERAWeek deepens the ever-important connection between academia and industry, creating a dynamic environment that cultivates top talent, uncovers fresh ideas, and discovers newfound energy transition pathways. This exciting new initiative builds on the already thriving innovation community at CERAWeek to help faculty source, fund, and scale impactful new concepts – and identify talent. NextGen accelerates these connections through engaging programming, targeted networking events, and collaborative discussions that inspire and spark the next generation of talent, ideas, and alliances. By fostering the industrial-academic nexus, NextGen ensures the formation of a motivated workforce and the emergence of novel solutions that drive lasting and meaningful change. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary client-facing contact for the execution and delivery of a portfolio of NextGen partnerships, ensuring an optimal experience for all Partners Serve as a Partner advocate and source-of-knowledge for internal stakeholders (programming teams, Leadership team, operations, etc.)  to address and represent NextGen needs Coordination of the NextGen cohort’s onsite participation, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders Coordinate executive engagement and/or speaking engagements of NextGen Partners    Coordinate on-site events, exhibits and/or hosting functions for NextGen Partners  Coordinate brand management, marketing materials and multimedia (photos/videos) for the NextGen program and its Partners Develop and implement effective communication tools such as surveys, chat groups, and other interactive platforms to enhance NextGen Partner involvement Support connection points with NextGen community throughout the year Track news and updates related to key targets and assist in prospecting partnerships with academic institutions Provide event registration support and management   Create an exceptional Partner experience and high return on Partner investment    Lead process improvements, including documentation of workflows related to NextGen Partnership delivery Additional responsibilities may include support for various other S&P Global events Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Highly organized and self-motivated, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proven experience in client relations, with a passion for working closely with clients to meet their needs Strong coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively among multiple internal and external stakeholders Event and program management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as an understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools (such as OneDrive or Microsoft Teams), and have experience working in project management (such as Monday.com or Airtable) and/ or event management software (such as Rainfocus or Cvent) Candidate will need to be comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment and collaboratively in a cross-functional, matrix organization, with experience on a remote team being a plus Required Skills: Based in Houston, Denver, DC (non-remote).
