YOUR IMPACT
The Partner Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving joint success for both OpenText and our valued partners. This individual builds and nurtures strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with a targeted set of partners and their broader ecosystems to generate incremental revenue through collaborative sales and marketing efforts. The PAM serves as the central point of coordination for all partner-related activities across sales teams, including enablement, education, marketing initiatives, executive briefings, business planning, and customer engagements. Our goal is to cultivate trusted partnerships that prioritize long-term growth with OpenText Cybersecurity.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to recruit, onboard, enable, and activate partner relationshipsClearly articulate the OpenText Cybersecurity value proposition to partners, with a focus on turning messaging into measurable actionCollaborate closely with sales teams and partners to build joint account plans and manage shared sales cyclesWork alongside channel marketing to launch localized campaigns and activities using Market Development Funds (MDF)Lead proactive partner-driven demand generation efforts including account mapping, calling sessions, co-hosted events, and trade shows to grow the pipeline and create net new opportunitiesConduct quarterly business reviews with strategic and key partners to ensure ongoing alignment and achievement of performance goalsOversee the day-to-day management of partner relationships, including deal registration, pipeline tracking, and lead sharing

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated success in channel partner management or direct sales collaboration with partnersKnowledge of cybersecurity domains such as Application Security, Data Privacy and Protection, Identity & Access Management, or Security OperationsStrong communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation — aligned with professional expectations for this roleExceptional interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilitiesAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess ROI and strategically allocate time and resourcesTeam-oriented and collaborative, with a passion for building trust and delivering shared successSelf-motivated and independently driven, with a positive, solutions-focused mindset

 

Estimated Base Salary: $110,000 USD
