Part Time Security Officer - Franklin, MA

Shift: Part-Time, Saturday & Sunday 12am-8am

Location: Franklin, MA 

Rate: $18.60 / hour 

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to work at our client site in Franklin, MA. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This is a high-profile site where strong customer service and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities:

Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access

Conduct regular patrols of buildings and grounds

Observe and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity

Enforce site-specific policies and procedures

Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly and effectively

Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors

Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels

Write accurate and detailed incident and shift reports

Collaborate with site management and emergency personnel as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or GED

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

CPR, First Aid, or other safety-related certifications

Familiarity with access control and surveillance systems
