Part Time Respite RN - Danvers, MA
Salary: $468 / Week Amergis Staffing is seeking a Respite Nurse RN to work in the community with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychiatric and medical treatment. This person would be comfortable with outreach, case management and providing support to these individuals. Details of the position include: Location: Danvers, MA Program: ACCS Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 9a-12p Start Date: Two weeks from offer Salary: $52/hr RN Duration: 13 weeks to start Duties and Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive): Provide nursing interventions to individuals Assist in the management of medications and the overall functioning of the nursing department Formulate and regularly update Comprehensive Assessments and IAP's for clients on your caseload Actively take part in supervision, staff meetings, in-services and trainings The nurse's role would include medication management, following up with providers, assessments required for clients, education/assessments for clients about their medications/symptoms if needed etc. Qualifications - Must have a reliable vehicle - 1 year experience with mental health/psychiatric patients - 1 year of med administration - 1 year knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychiatric and medical treatment - Ideally someone with experience in a setting like respite where clients are admitted and discharged frequently *Bilingual a plus!
