What you will get:

BUILD YOUR OWN SCHEDULE!  You are required to work at least 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Hours can be scheduled available shift hours.  Hours available will vary.Part-Time Benefit ProgramStarting Pay Rate: $15.95/hour.No need to ask for days off - you build your own schedule within the guidelines noted above.*
 

What you will do:

You will work in either various assembly functional areas to safely build excavators. 

As a Part Time Production Technician- FLEX, you will:

Perform routine production tasks in assembly, fabrication, paint, or other areas while upholding Caterpillar’s core values.Follow documented procedures to safely and accurately assemble components using basic tools and equipment.Operate machinery, blasting and painting applications, and perform basic tack and straight-line welds.Support continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and adhering to safety, quality, and standard work protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

Work or volunteer experience

Top candidates will also have:

Basic computers skillsExperience working in a team-based environmentExperience working in manufacturing or with basic hand tools

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periodsWilling and able to perform repetitive operationsWilling and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Additional Information: 

*Must be able to adhere to the following schedule for training:

                -Monday: 7AM- 11AM

                -Tuesday- Thursday: 7AM-3:30 PM

                -Friday: 7AM-11AM

Summary Pay Range:

$15.95 - $20.75

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
