Part Time Pharmacist

 The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Location: This is an onsite role. 512 Elmwood Ave, Sharon Hill, PA 19079

Hours: This is a part time Variable Service Provider (VSP) role

The department operates from 9:30AM-6PM Monday-Friday and 12:30PM-6PM on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be about a 3 month period where we will need a commitment of 24-32 hours per week to cover a leave of absence

After the leave of absence is completed, the average hours per week will be 8-16

The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT):

Ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients.

 Is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Pennsylvania

Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs

Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group

Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving

Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with computers

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$104,400 - $143,600 per year
