Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team, responsible for both in-office and remote tasks. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting with minor procedures, and managing medical records and communications.
ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and prepare exam rooms between visits.Update medical records and handle voicemails from the call center.Scribe for surgeons and assist with minor procedures such as suture or staple removal.Support a patient flow of 15–20 patients per doctor daily.Manage staff messages and process prescription refills remotely.Perform chart scrubbing to maintain accurate patient information.Essential SkillsProficiency in medical assisting and patient care.Experience with Epic electronic health records.Knowledge of medical terminology.Any experience in healthcare accepted.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred prior experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in any specialty.Skills in phlebotomy and healthcare appointment scheduling.Work Environment

You will always work as part of a team, with 8 CMAs on staff and a goal to grow to 11. Located in Morristown, our high-volume site ensures you are never working alone. The shift is from 9AM to 5PM, 3 days a week, where the physician will see 20-30 patients on a full day, facilitating quick turnaround times for returning patients.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
