Job Summary:
The Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas invites applications for a part-time lecturer to teach Real Estate Principles, a foundational undergraduate course for students pursuing a concentration in Real Estate Finance alongside their business degree. This face-to-face course introduces students to real estate acumen and core concepts of real estate including careers in real estate, leases, property management, finance, development, law, investment, and appraisal. The course is approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission for 45 hours towards the initial sales agent license.
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic and a record of productivity and professional achievement.
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Proven experience in the real estate industry (finance, brokerage, appraisal, development, etc.)
+ Prior teaching or training experience at the undergraduate level preferred
+ Strong communication skills and a collaborative teaching style
+ Commitment to student success and academic excellence
