Inventory Counter
Location: Miami, FL
$21.00/hour
Friday – Monday
6:00 AM Start | Approx. 7 Hours/Day

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Counter to support accurate tracking and control of raw materials and finished products. This role involves scheduling and performing cycle counts, investigating variances, and ensuring the integrity of inventory data to support smooth production and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cycle counts and validate inventory accuracy (5%)

Schedule and assign counts for raw materials and finished goods (30%)

Conduct annual physical inventory (1%)

Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions (10%)

Input and manage cycle count data in the system (10%)

Process inventory requests (4%)

Generate end-of-period variance reports (5%)

Report production based on batch cards (30%)

Monitor inventory and notify management of any discrepancies (5%)

Support slotting audits, phase-in/phase-out processes, and damaged goods handling

Assist with vendor credits and purchase order verification

Performance Focus Areas:

Inventory accuracy and reconciliation

Timeliness and quality of reporting

Support for logistics, purchasing, and production planning

Compliance with safety and warehouse procedures

Internal customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Ability to read and interpret technical information accurately

Detail-oriented with a high degree of precision in data entry

Capable of working in racked warehouse environments (climbing, reaching, etc.)

Familiarity with inventory systems and production documentation (batch cards, PO verification, etc.)

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently while following company policies and procedures

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Inventory management (basic to intermediate)

Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and purchasing practices

Experience handling damaged product, slotting audits, and vendor credit processes

Strong organization and time management skills
