Description We are in search of a Part-Time Inventory Assistant to join our team in the Downtown Dallas area (parking is free!). As a Part-Time Inventory Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory records accurately. You will also be tasked with handling the incoming merchandise and ensuring their proper storage. This is a contract to permanent hire opportunity and the hours would be Monday - Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm or 5:00pm (24-28 hours per week). Responsibilities: • Oversee the receipt and processing of incoming goods to ensure accurate inventory levels. • Safely and efficiently store unpacked merchandise on shelves. • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy. • Utilize basic computer skills to perform clerical duties and data entry tasks related to inventory control. • Report any discrepancies in product accuracy to the management team. • Collaborate with all levels of the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage inventory controls effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members. • Solid math skills, including knowledge of arithmetic for inventory calculations. • Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Proven interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization. • Analytical problem-solving capabilities for addressing inventory discrepancies. • Previous experience in clerical duties and inventory control is preferred. • Familiarity with maintaining accurate records and documentation.
