**Overview** GovCIO is currently hiring a part time summer intern to support our business development team. This position will work June 23-27 and July 28-August 15. It will be located at our corporate office in Fairfax, VA. It is an unpaid position. **Responsibilities** + GovCIO’s internship program is designed to provide on-the-job training and experience for college students in various fields. Our Capture / Business Development intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including: + Developing a working knowledge of the Sector structure and processes. + Attending Sector and corporate meetings as assigned. + Collaborating with teams across the Sector as well as opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally throughout the business. + Supporting current business processes and assisting with implementation of new business processes. + Assisting in additional Capture- and Business Development-related projects. **Qualifications** Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher - Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident - Completed coursework or pursuing or a degree in the area(s) related to the internship Required Skills and Experience: + Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher or enrolled at a college-prep high school + Able to work 20 – 40 hours/week Monday - Friday during Summer 2025 + Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. + Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to excellence. + Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills. + Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident Preferred Skills and Experience: + Completed coursework related to business, writing, or similar subjects. **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
