Are you a highly skilled Dental Hygienist who would like to work with an innovative implant company offering top compensation and benefits?

Job Purpose:

Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.

Duties:

Work in partnership with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information to be used for implant treatment planningWork in partnership with our Sales Consultants to ensure that world class patient care is delivered and revenue targets are achievedPrepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocolsPrepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patientProvides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requestsMaintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instrumentsSelects materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral healthCompletes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth, from beneath gum margins, around abutments and restorations of implant crowns/bridges and around abutments and beneath full arch fixed implant restorationsDetects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gingiva and oral/peri implant mucosa using probes to locate periodontal and peri implant disease; and, to assess levels of recession; taking digital radiographsCleaning and polishing removable appliancesEducates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visitMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidentialMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsConserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience as a hygienistDental implant experience strongly desired particularly with fixed full arch prosthesesCommitment to providing world class patient experienceExcellent communication skillsProfessional appearanceUse of Dental Technology, Dental Health Maintenance, Infection Control, Health Promotion and MaintenanceCreating a Safe, Effective EnvironmentListening, Teamwork, Thoroughness, Self-Development

Benefits:

We offer an excellent base salary - $50 - $55/hour, plus incentive compensation
