Description Our client, a growing local company in the manufacturing industry, is in need for a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Full Charge Bookkeeper to come in and join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This position is ideal for someone skilled in managing comprehensive bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the company's bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Prepare and submit accurate sales and use tax reports in compliance with regulations. • Perform month-end close processes and collaborate with external partners for year-end financial close. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper transaction categorization. • Work closely with the CPA at the end of every close, and year-end close • Generate detailed financial reports to aid in operational and strategic planning. • Oversee payroll processing using ADP and ensure timely payments. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor expenses against projections. • Maintain adherence to accounting standards and best practices in all financial activities. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Ability to self-motivate and work independently to handle daily operations as needed • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other computerized accounting systems. • Strong knowledge of sales and use tax reporting and compliance. • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and other core accounting functions. • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a commitment to accuracy.
