Part-Time Faculty: 134,135,151 Sketchbook/Drawing Sense of Place/Drawing the Figure Workshops Fall25

The School of Art within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach ARL134, 135, and 151 The Sketchbook, Drawing Sense of Place, and Drawing the Figure, three one-credit hour workshops, during the Fall semester, 2025.
ARL 134: The focus of this course is developing sketchbook skills for the exploration of ideas and observation of the world.
ARL 135 The focus of this course is to develop drawing skills to create a sense of space and place. We will cover perspective, interiors, defining a space and more within the context of the class. We will discuss ideas about what defines a space beyond physical structure and appearance and explore related themes.
ARL 151: The objectives of this drawing course are to perceive and understand the human figure in terms of proportion, structure, motion, surface, and volumes.
