This office operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Expected work hours will include Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays Day/Swing/Grave Shifts. Hiring for Grave 10p-6a. Must be available to work summer hours. Part-Time hours 10 to 28 per week. No Benefits.

Determine the nature and location of the incident: determine priorities, and dispatch units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures.Dispatch facilities, maintenance and other university personnel to incidents that require immediate action to ensure the safety and security of the campus.Closely monitor safety systems and alarms, such as fire detection, intrusion detection, access control, and security cameras.Maintains contact with all units on assignment, maintain status and location of unitsAnswers non-emergency calls for assistance.Enter, update and retrieve information from a variety of computer systems.Monitor several public safety radio frequencies.Operate a variety of communications equipment, including radio consoles, telephones, computer aided dispatch (CAD), and other computer systems/programs.Other duties as assigned.
