Description
We are looking for a skilled Part-time Bookkeeper (20 hours per week) with experience in Sage Intacct (a must!) to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial and operational tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of a non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
• Administer the Wrike ticketing system to ensure timely assignment and resolution of finance and operations-related tickets.
• Prepare documentation for outsourced accounting providers and in-house payment processors to facilitate accurate transaction recording and receivables application.
• Manage reconciliations and journal entries for chapter dues, registrations, and service revenue, ensuring proper application of funds.
• Process manual deposits when required and record revenue in appropriate systems, including association management tools.
• Enter financial transactions and orders into registration or association management systems as needed.
• Calculate, submit, and process bi-weekly distributions for the organization, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee vendor management processes, including collecting W-9 forms, reviewing 1099 reporting information, and resolving uncashed checks.
• Monitor bank balances and perform necessary fund transfers to maintain adequate liquidity.
• Process and code payables, assign approvals, and ensure timely payments.
• Support outsourced accounting partners with additional tasks as required.
Requirements • Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Sage Intacct and bill.com.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and financial recordkeeping.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed financial records.
• Familiarity with non-profit financial operations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
