Part-Time Before and After-School Staff We Call Our Educators: $15.00-$17.00 per hour (based on education & experience) Location: Multicultural Dual Language Academy inside Peoria Public Schools at 2612 N. Bootz Ave.Peoria, IL 61604 Required: Must be at least 18 years old and have six months of experience working with children in a group or school setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred Split Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:15 am-8:30 am and return 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm*, with the exception of any early release days, 2:00 pm-6:00 pm  MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THIS SCHEDULE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY Start Date: July 2025
You’ll drive the mission by: Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability. Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages. Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management. Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations. Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
