We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts payable, with experience in a manufacturing setting being advantageous.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and verify expense reports; reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and office records.Facilitate payment of vendors, including verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as necessary.Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.Record entry of, verify documentation for, and distribute petty cash.Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.Essential SkillsAccounts payableInvoice processingData entry3+ years of accounts payable experienceStrong Excel skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing settingExperience with any ERP systemMust be reliable and have a high attention to detailWork Environment
The position is on-site with a flexible schedule that can be arranged between the candidate and the controller. Initially, full-time work is required during training, followed by a shift to part-time work of approximately 24 hours per week. The environment supports collaboration and efficiency
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
