Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. This role involves supporting various accounting and operational functions within a machinery manufacturing environment. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is comfortable handling multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Process sales orders, forecast entries, and purchase order acknowledgements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and send shipment notifications to customers to ensure clear communication.
• Manage inventory transfers and execute inventory-related entries in QuickBooks.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic reporting and data organization tasks.
• Create purchase orders within QuickBooks and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Assist in auditing and billing processes to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Support equipment shipping operations and coordinate related logistics.
• Handle additional duties as assigned to support the accounting and operational team.

Requirements • Proficiency in accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including basic reporting and data organization.
• Familiarity with purchase order creation and inventory management processes.
• Ability to manage equipment shipping and logistics effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for customer correspondence and team collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
