Job Title: Part Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Part Quality Engineer to collaborate with suppliers in resolving quality issues, manage containment and crisis situations, and conduct thorough investigations during new model launches and model changes. The role requires proficiency in 8D, control plans, and APQP and involves managing the SQMS database to efficiently track quality issues.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and manage crisis situations.Conduct investigations during new model launches and model changes.Utilize 8D, control plans, and APQP to ensure quality standards are met.Manage the SQMS database to track and report issues efficiently.Rotate between day and night shifts starting in 2023.Essential SkillsExperience with parts quality and engineering.Proficiency in APQP and PPAP.Skills in supplier quality, root cause analysis, and supplier development.Experience in OEM and supplier management.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical degree.Minimum of 3 years experience with an OEM or supplier in supplier/parts quality.Automotive interiors experience is a plus.Work Environment

This role operates within an OEM environment and requires local travel to supplier sites. Starting in 2023, the position will require rotation between day and night shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.50 - $55.00/hr.
