Opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or newly qualified Architect to join an Architectural and Project Management consultancy in the centre of Birmingham.
You will be supporting the Project lead / Architect and working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice have a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area, therefore a healthcare Architect would be desirable however not essential.
You will join a medium size team of 30 working across a variety of projects leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.
The Role:
Assisting the Architect from start to finish across all RIBA stages, managing the overall design process within the RIBA work stagesCo-ordinating a design team, working with Product Designers in-house and external construction professionalsComplete site visits to check on progress and budgetLiaise with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams and ensuring that the design projects are on scheduleThe Candidate:
Relevant ARB / RIBA qualificationGood working knowledge of UK building regulationsClient focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skillsStrong technical abilitiesThe ability / willingness to deliver projects.An up-to-date knowledge of planning stage processes and methodsRevit Proficiency is mandatoryThis is a great opportunity to grow and enhance your career with talented people working on cutting edge projects in a friendly supportive flexible environment.
