THE JOB

Cascades Amphitheater is seeking a Parking Operations Crew Member who will be responsible for setting up parking and traffic signage and equipment, managing traffic flow, and providing customer service to guests in parking lots.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Customer Service & Conflict ResolutionGreet and assist patrons entering and exiting the parking facility with a professional and courteous attitude.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a calm, solution-oriented manner.De-escalate confrontational situations using effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.Enforce parking regulations and direct customers appropriately, while maintaining a respectful and composed demeanor.Traffic & Access ControlSet up and remove traffic control devices including cones, delineators, barricades, and signage.Direct traffic flow safely within parking areas during events, peak hours, and special situations.Monitor parking lot capacity and manage overflow in coordination with team members or supervisors.Heavy Equipment HandlingLoad, unload, and physically move equipment such as cones, delineators, sandbags, and barricades as needed.Tow portable equipment such as Changeable Message Signs (CMS) and temporary lighting towers using appropriate trailers and hitches.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe towing operations and compliance with safety guidelines.Equipment Setup & MaintenanceInstall and test CMS boards and lighting equipment on-site for operational readiness.Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.Report damage or malfunction of any parking or traffic control equipment to the supervisor immediately.Documentation & CommunicationMaintain accurate records of incidents, equipment usage, and any on-site issues.Communicate clearly via radio or phone with team members and supervisors during operations.Assist with documenting and reporting accidents, customer disputes, or towing actions as required.Safety ComplianceFollow all safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Remain alert to hazards and take appropriate action to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.Participate in safety briefings and trainings as required.Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor. 

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

One-year previous parking and customer service experience is preferred, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service. Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion. Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting. Must present a well-groomed appearance. A high school diploma/GED preferred.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
