Summary
Position Highlights:
The Parking Enforcement Associate proactively monitors all Moffitt's Campuses parking garages and spaces surrounding the campus for parking violations, safety concerns and signage. This position also monitors the Magnolia Campus Garage, all reserved, handicapped spaces, and common access work areas for illegally parked vehicles on all Moffitt Cancer Center campuses.
Responsibilities:
By vehicle and on foot, proactive monitoring of all parking lots, garages, reserved and handicap spaces and common access work areas for illegally parked vehicles on all Moffitt campuses. Coordinates with valet service, Moffitt security and local traffic enforcement authorities in identifying registered owners in violation of Moffitt parking policies. Issues parking warning stickers and citations to violators and physically attach each to vehicles of interest. Maintains an archived and retrievable record of each parking violation event to include photographs. Ensure employees and contractors park only in areas predesignated by an assigned decal or temporary pass. Responds to team members and visitors’ questions about all parking-related issues on all Moffitt properties. Reports to P&T and Security of tow trucks conducting repos on Moffitt property. Effectively manages numerous tasks and activities simultaneously with little to no supervisory oversight. Establishes priorities and displays resourcefulness in the completion of daily tasks and special projects.
Credentials and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED. Two (2) years’ parking, transportation and/or parking enforcement experience is required. Two (2) customer service experience (maybe inclusive of overall experience).
Preferred
Associate degree. One (1) year of experience working in a healthcare environment (maybe inclusive in overall experience).
