Job Title: Parks & Countryside Officer Salary: £12.60 per hour Hours: 46 per week Contract: 2 Months (Temporary) Location: Maldon Closing Date: Tuesday 29th July at 3:00 PM About the Role Coyles are delighted to support Maldon District Council in recruiting a Parks & Countryside Officer on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and improving public spaces and the natural environment within Maldon Promenade Park. Key Responsibilities Emptying bins and litter picking across public areas Sweeping and maintaining pathways Grass cutting and hedge trimming Hand-weeding shrub beds Supporting general grounds maintenance and park upkeep Driving grounds maintenance vehicles, including ride-on mowers Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in grounds maintenance, street cleansing, or similar outdoor work Experience in weed spraying (desirable) Ability to operate ride-on mowers and similar equipment Full UK driving licence (up to 3.5t) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and as part of a team Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00 Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 Why Join Us?
