The Amergis Educational Services Team is currently seeking Paraprofessionals certified in American Sign Language (ASL) for schools within Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow and surrounding areas for the Full 2025-26 School Year.
Position Details:
Pay: $20-22 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Date: August 2025
Length of Contract: 2025-26 school year (high possibility of extension into the following school year and option to go internal directly with school)

Requirements:
• Sixty (60) or more college credit hours or an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited school or a passing score on the Para Pro exam required.
• Must be certified in American Sign Language.* Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
