Job DescriptionRole Summary:
The Paramedic is required to support the on-site emergency response capability and management of medical emergencies either as an independent clinician or as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide appropriate support on site for the management of medical and trauma emergencies, including stabilization and transfer via road ambulance while continuing to treat.Assess patients, provide emergency treatment, and make diagnoses with the provision of a limited primary health care service on site, if appropriate.Comply with the project-specific Medevac plan.Maintain comprehensive confidential medical records of all patient attendances/contacts.Ensure that the ambulance and onsite clinic are kept clean and tidy and are prepared for operational delivery at all times.Ensure the medical inventory and stock levels are maintained and that all equipment is readily available.Support basic health and first aid training for the project personnel.Develop and manage major incident capability on site.Provide 24/7 access to emergency support.Provide support with training as required.Provide clinical reports for the Regional Medical Director and Project Manager.Support clinical excellence and compliance with clinical protocols and SOPs.This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
QualificationsQualifications & Experience:
State-approved and internationally recognized license as a paramedic in an EU state or equivalent.Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience after certification as a registered paramedic.Knowledge and working experience as a Paramedic in emergency medicine services, pre-hospital care, and transportation medicine.General professional experience: Experience as a paramedic within the context of military operations is an advantage.Additional InformationPlease provide copies of the following qualifications and certifications:
